My Girlies

LaLa turned 3 a few weeks ago, so it was time for pictures! I haven't gotten a good one of them all together, so I worked really hard to get one. :) They were being hilarious and I'm glad I got some good ones!
They are all so cute and so different. It's hard to imagine life without them.
Goofy Sadie- couldn't get her to not be silly. She has this smile in most of the pictures that day.
And miss Lala was just as silly, but I managed to get some cute ones.
Olivia was doing really good. I took a bunch and they were making me laugh so hard. I tried to get just a smiling one, but it wasn't until the last couple that I got her not making a funny face.

Madeleine

I have never met a more relaxed newborn! I was totally amazed. I would get her hands where I wanted them and when I let go they would slowly come apart and hang down by her side. She was 2 1/2 weeks old when we did her pictures and she slept and folded up like she was just born.
So sweet!

I wasn't sure about this one when I was setting it up, but it turned out to be one of my favorites! Thanks ladies!

Zoo Trip

Idaho Camera has seminars every month. I got an email about this last one and was really excited to do it. They had a rep from a lens company come in and talk about the fundamentals of photography and then we got to go to the zoo and borrow their lenses and take pictures. I used a couple different ones. Mostly the Tamron 60mm F/2 Marco lens. I loved it. It was pouring rain that day and we were all soaked, but it was so much fun.
The butterfly exhibit is open and they are just flying all over. It was cool to get really close to them and take a couple of shots.
First time I zoomed in to look at this picture I thought I had water drops on my screen. Turns out they were on the butterfly!
This picture makes the tiger look like he's nice and friendly; like you could scratch his head and he'd cuddle up next to you.
I'd stay away from this one.
